1. Closely monitor the Springs Resort Expansion including the required environmental assessment being done by CME Environmental.
2. Collaborate with the Planning Department to bring forth the new Land Use Development Code for final approval.
3. Create a water monitoring team of volunteers to establish baseline data on wetland water quantity, quality, and timing.
4. Expand community education and engagement via Riverwalk Naturalist Program, written articles for media outlets, presentations to key individuals, public hearings, etc.
5. Work with Pagosa Springs Tourism Board and Parks and Recreation Department to complete the new interpretive signs and other enhancement opportunities.
6. Consider fundraising opportunities via grant writing and partnerships.
