As we have done in the past, we will host 3 bird identification classes in preparation for the Christmas Bird Count in December.  Please join us on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:30 PM for  the first class, Winter Birds 101, waterfowl identification.  Our thanks to Keith Bruno and Randy McCormick for providing tips on identifying these birds. Learn to differentiate those tricky females on the water.  This is an opportunity to hone our skills in time to practice on area lakes before the count in December.

In December we will continue with classes on perching songbirds (12/9), and raptors and CBC protocols (12/16).  All classes will take place on Zoom at 6:30 PM with meeting links on the events tab of our website.  All interested parties are welcome to join these meetings.
