We invite you to join Weminuche Audubon members on Wednesday, October 19, when we gather to share our photos and tales of outdoor adventures in the last year.  In the past we have been awed by member photos of birds and other wildlife seen near and far. We know that some of us have taken long-awaited trips to other areas and we look forward to sharing the highlights of these experiences. You don’t have to be a photographer to join in the fun, stories are just as welcome.

If you have photos to share, please choose around 10 to show.  If you are joining us in person, bring a flash drive and we will show them on the screen and you can narrate.  Alternatively, you may email photos to weminuche.audubon@gmail.com and we will transfer them to a flash drive and show them for you.  Please send your photos no later than Monday, October 17, to allow time for us to compile them.                                                 

  Also at this meeting, Keith Bruno will give an introduction to Audubon’s newly released Bird Migration Explorer. This exciting new tool will allow you to track the migration challenges of individual bird species.  A description of this tool is also available in the Fall Audubon magazine. 

  We will meet at the Community United Methodist Church on Lewis St.  Join us to socialize at 6:00 PM before the meeting starts at 6:30.  Audubon meetings are open to the public and anyone with an interest is welcome to attend.  In appreciation for our meeting space, a donation of non-perishable food for the church food bank is requested.  For those unable to attend in person, use the following Zoom link to join the meeting.
