Coloring the Conservation Conversation – Drew Lanham

Drew will be speaking about barriers to birding and other outdoor activities for people of color and the importance of nature for all of us.  Drew is now or was a board member of National Audubon, Audubon South Carolina, ABA, and the Aldo Leopold Foundation.  He gave the keynote address at the 2017 National Audubon convention in Salt Lake City.  He’s the author of The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature.  And he is an ardent birder!
         Drew is an eloquent, passionate advocate for the things he believes in and the viewers of his talk will find it thoughtful and impactful.  Drew’s “9 Rules for the Black Birdwatcher” has gone viral on YouTube.
